How to Make Creamy Chicken Noodles in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I made a variation of this recipe years ago on the stove top. (You can find the stove top recipe here.) Ryder wasn’t quite two years old the first time I made it. Our family has grown since I first made this recipe, but it has still proven itself to be a favorite around here. I have made quite a few different chicken noodles recipes through the years. With my tweaking of this recipe, this is the one that Michael has declared his favorite. It is that good.
I love that this recipe is not only packed full of flavor while having your meat, veggies and grains all in one bowl, the sour cream just gives this dish a creamy, velvety feel. It is awesome! Also, there isn’t a ton of prep work. The most involved thing you have to do is slice your veggies and your chicken at the beginning, and that doesn’t take very long. Everything else is just put it in the crock pot and let it do all the work.
