How to Make Apple Oatmeal Creme Pie in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Cris sent me a link to a Tiktok video the other day that showed how to make little individual Apple Oatmeal Creme Pies in an air fryer. That video inspired me to try making a whole pie in my crock pot and add a sprinkling of cinnamon as an extra touch.
My family absolutely loved the results. I loved the flavor of this simple dessert, but I also loved that I could make it so quickly. Not only was this recipe easy to throw together, but it also cooked up super fast.
I made this in one of my tried and true 6 quart slow cookers. I know it doesn’t cook hot. So, it took right at an hour to cook it all through. If you have a slow cooker that cooks hot, it will probably be closer to 45 minutes. If your slow cooker is a little on the cool side or heats up more slowly than mine, it will probably be closer to an hour and a half. Regardless of how your crock pot cooks, I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
