How to Make Bacon Bites in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
A while back, Mikey made these Easy Bacon Wrapped Crackers in an oven. The flavor was amazing! I thought I would give it a try in my crock pot. The results were different, but still amazing. If you want the traditional crunchy version of this amazing treat, you will want to try out the oven version. However, if you want to try something a little different, check out this crock pot version.
While these Crock Pot Bacon Bites do not have a cracker that is crunchy on the inside, the buttery flavor from the cracker comes together with the bacon and brown sugar to give you an amazing flavor combo. After you broil these delicious morsels and let them cool for a few minutes, the caramelized brown sugar and the bacon crisp up to give you an nice crunchy outer shell with the buttery flavored middle. I highly recommend trying both recipes. They are both delicious and different in their own way! I hope you and your loved ones enjoy these as much as we do.
