Honestly, it is so good that I had to make batches of this at the same time, because my family would have fought over who got this one. What You Will Need for Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken for Two
Ingredients Needed
- 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken, cubed
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup bourbon or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Rice, prepared
Equipment Needed
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Small mixing bowl
- Stirring spatulas
- 2.5 quart slow cooker, 3 quart slow cooker OR 4 quart slow cooker
- Dish to keep your chicken warm in
- Coffee cup
- Fork
- Medium sauce pan
- Whatever you need to make your favorite rice
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 2 hours on low or 1 hour on high, stirring halfway through cooking time

Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken for Two
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken , cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup bourbon or chicken broth
- 1 Tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 Tablespoon corn starch
- 1 Tablespoon water
- rice prepared
Instructions
- Spray your crock pot with cooking spray.
- Place your chicken pieces in your 2.5 quart or 3 quart or 4 quart crock pot.
- Mix together remaining ingredients (except for cornstarch, water and rice) until well blended.
- Pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook for 2 hours on low or 1 hour on high, stirring halfway through cooking.
- *Note: If you need a longer cook time, don't cut your chicken until just before serving.*
- Remove your chicken from your slow cooker and keep warm.
- Mix together your cornstarch and water in a small bowl or coffee cup.
- Pour your sauce and cornstarch mixture into a saucepan on your stove over medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Turn your stove down to a simmer, stirring your sauce frequently until your sauce reaches the desired thickness.
- Once sauce is thickened, stir chicken in with sauce and serve chicken on a bed of rice drizzled with the sauce.
