Aunt Lou here.

This momma’s been sick for days. I’m very fortunate to have a husband who has been taking good care of me and making meals while I have been down and out, but he’s back to work now and the family still needs fed. So what’s a recovering, but still weak momma to do? She creates a super easy recipe that will make the family happy! Whether you are super busy or super weak, I hope this recipe helps you out as much as it did me!

  • fresh grated parmesan cheese, optional

  2. Place your cut up chicken pieces evenly in the bottom of your crock
  3. Pour one jar of alfredo sauce evenly on top of your chicken
  4. Layer your frozen ravioli on top of your chicken
  5. Pour your remaining jar of sauce on top of the ravioli and spread evenly
  6. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours

Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Casserole Notes

  • I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs because they were on sale. You could also use chicken tenders (to speed up the process of cutting into bite size pieces) or chicken breasts.
  • If you have the time and want to make your own alfredo sauce, I have a great recipe you can find here. If you need a speedier way of making this recipe, I love the Kroger brand alfredo sauce or Bertolli.
  • As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
  • All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and shouldย always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

  1. Is it ok if I stirred everything after an hour instead of keeping layered?

    1. 5 stars
I haven’t tried stirring this, but I think it might work. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

  2. I am cooking for one. Can I cut this recipe in half? And if so how long would you recommend that I cook it?

    1. 5 stars
I haven’t tried cutting this recipe in half. If I did, I would use a smaller slow cooker (either a 2.5 quart or 4 quart). With using fewer ingredients and a smaller slow cooker, the cooking time should be similar to the original recipe. As always, be sure to watch it closely the first time you make it so you can adjust the cooking time as needed for your specific slow cooker.

  6. Do you think I could use frozen chicken tenders and just not cut them up? Would it change the cooking time at all?

    1. 5 stars
      Hi Pat!

You will want to make sure your chicken is thawed before putting it in your slow cooker. Also, I’m afraid the chicken wouldn’t get completely done before the sauce would start to crust up on the sides if you don’t cut them up. With chicken tenders, you could just cut them in half or thirds. Quick and easy! Enjoy!

  7. I don’t have a comment as I haven’t made this recipe yet. I do have a question. I’m assuming that you use cheese ravioli. Is this correct? I did want to say that I stumbled on this website quite by accident and have made several of the recipes in my crockpots and pressure cooker. We have loved every one. I have shared the existence of this website with many people. Keep up the good work! Have a great day!

  8. Looks quick, easy, and delicious! Does the chicken need to be pre cooked?
    Thanks ?

      Hi Chrislin!

I doesn’t need to be pre cooked, but you do want to make sure your chicken is done before serving. Enjoy!
