Aunt Lou here.

My oldest attends a school that is nut-free school. So last year was my first go-round with how to make snacks and lunches with out nuts. This Crock Pot Cracker Crunch Snack Mix I adapted from Gooseberry Patch’s Almost Homemade is nut-free for anyone with a nut allergy or a need for a tasty treat without nuts. However, if you have a hankerin’ for some nuts, then you can add in your favorite nuts and make it your own!

First of all, thanks for all of the great recipes that you have provided to me over the past few years. Recently my husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and must significantly cut salt out of his diet. As many of your recipes include canned soup, we cannot use these anymore. ๐Ÿ™ Would you be able to provide an alternative to these soups? Thank you!
