How to Make Italian Bacon Chicken Tenders for Two in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

Easy recipes are my favorite. I love it when I can put together a recipe without working on it for ages. However, I also want to eat delicious food. So, when a recipe like this Crock Pot Italian Bacon Chicken Tenders for Two checks off all the boxes, I am absolutely thrilled.

When you are browning up the bacon, I highly recommend not having your pan too hot. I tried this recipe a couple different ways, and the bacon did better when I cooked it over medium to medium/low heat instead of medium to medium/high. When I cooked at the higher temperatures, the bacon tried to char very quickly. Since I wanted my bacon browned instead of charred, the lower temperature worked much better.
