Aunt Lou here.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Growing up, I would love it when Momma would make oatmeal. Now, she usually made old fashioned oats. It wasn’t until Cris and I started Recipes that Crock that I tried steel oats in a crock pot for the first time. While I love me some good old fashioned oats, I’m so glad that Cris introduced me cooking oats in a crock pot! I’m guessing that you’re going to love these Crock Pot Oatmeal Recipes!

Hi Sharon!
We do not have one yet, but I will add it to the list of recipes to try!

All of the oatmeal recipes look wonderful but I was wondering if I can use margarine instead of butter. That goes for all of your recipes that call for butter if it is not specified that you need salted or unsalted butter. Thanks
Hi Tanya!
As long as you use stick margarine (not tub) you should be able to switch it out in almost all recipes. The only exception would be some baking from scratch recipes… but I can’t think of any of ours that would fall into that category. Hope that helps!
I love making oatmeal in my crockpot. I also make blueberry, pumpkin and cranberry.
Hi Judith-
Those flavors sound incredible! We are going to have to give them a try.
