What about adding a can of diced potatoes to the soup ? Would I need more broth
Aunt Lou says
I haven’t tried this with diced potatoes, but that sounds good. You could add them undrained without having to add extra broth, or you could drain them and use a little more broth. Whichever you prefer should be fine. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

Could I double this recipe and cook it in a 8 qt crockpot?
Aunt Lou says
Hi Jay!
I haven’t tried doubling it in an 8 quart, but think it could work. Make sure you watch it closely the first time you make it to adjust the cooking time as necessary. If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out!

This looks great! What would make it even better is if you develop this recipe for the instantpot!
Aunt Lou says
Hi Alisa!
I think that sounds like a great idea! I’ll have to put it on the list of recipes to convert over to Instant Pot recipes!
