How to Make Sloppy Joe Potato Stew in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

We absolutely love this Crock Pot Sloppy Joe Potato Stew! I bet you will too! It is filling and delicious while still being an easy recipe to throw together!

A great way to make this recipe even easier is to use our Crock Pot Make Ahead Ground Beef Recipe. We love having ground beef ready to go for a recipe at a moment’s notice! Another way to make this more of a “dump and go” recipe the day you are ready to make it is to peel and cube your potatoes the night before and put them in a bowl of water to keep them from browning. Then when you want to make this, you just have to drain the potatoes, grab your Make Ahead Ground Beef along with your ingredients, dump, stir, cover and cook! Bing, bang, boom!

If you need this recipe to take a little longer to cook, cut your potatoes into large cubes. If you are in need of a shorter cooking time, cut your potatoes into smaller cubes. Either way, you can adjust this recipe to your wants and needs while keeping the delicious flavor of the recipe in tact! It’s a win win for sure!

I can’t believe this is only 1 carb per serving. The cans of sloppy joe mix would make it much higher, not to mention the potatoes.

There was a technical error that was pushing through inaccurate numbers. Thank you for pointing it out. We fixed it. We try to stress that everyone should always calculate the numbers from their own ingredients because any auto calculator can have errors, and even when they donโ€™t have errors, products can vary so greatly it can be very different for two different home cooks.
