How to Make Smoked Sausage Alfredo Soup in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I thought I would try making a recipe with some of my favorite foods: homemade alfredo sauce, smoked sausage and pasta. The result was this delicious Crock Pot Smoked Sausage Alfredo Soup. It is super easy to prepare, cooks quickly and tastes amazing.
When I served this, we had company over. My best friend made the comment that she loved the taste and consistency of the soup. While there is a homemade alfredo sauce included in the recipe, I use chicken broth to make it into a soup instead of a sauce. So, if you love the flavor of the alfredo but prefer a thinner sauce, this soup is going to be right up your alley! On the flip side, my son and I are huge fans of regular (thicker) alfredo sauce, and he and I both loved this soup. It is a win all the way around!
