Aunt Lou here.

I love a good meatball recipe. The first time I remember having Easy Party Meatballs. It was at Cris and Mike’s wedding reception…well, technically it was before the reception since I couldn’t help but try a few before. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So when I saw this recipe for Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs in Gooseberry Patch’s Slow Cooker to the Rescue, I knew that I had happened upon another delicious recipe!

Ingredients for Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 6 graham crackers finely crushed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3-4 teaspoons milk
  • 1 1/4 cups beef broth
  • egg noodles cooked

How to Make Swedish Meatballs in a Crock Pot

  1. Mix together your ground beef, onion, graham crackers, sugar, salt, pepper and milk in a big bowl until well combined (if it is a little dry, add a little more milk)

  2. Form your beef mixture into 1-inch balls

  3. Lightly grease a large skillet and brown your meatballs over medium heat

  4. Put your browned meatballs in your 4-quart crock pot, leaving the drippings in the skillet (I used Mr. Big, myย 4-quart Crock Pot)

  5. Pour your broth into your skillet and cook with drippings over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it thickens just a bit

  6. Pour your broth mixture over your meatballs, cover and cook on high for an hour

  7. Serve over cooked egg noodles

Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs Recipe Notes:

  • I decided to name my 4-quart Crock Potย Mr. Big after a character in one of my shows. It is sleek, looks good in black, and I think it is funny to call it Mr. Big when it is one of my smallest slow cookers. So there ya have it…a glimpse into my silly mind. Anyone else have random, bizarre thoughts…no? Just me? Okay then…moving on! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Your favorite 4 quart crock pot will work great for these yummy.
  • I had some broth leftover after making the recipe, so I added the leftover broth to the water when making my egg noodles. I highly recommend it!
