How to Make Easy Muddy Buddies on a Stove Top
Aunt Lou here.
When I was growing up, we called this special treat “Puppy Chow” when we had it. However, since it has chocolate in it, it is definitely not a dog friendly treat. So, now it is called Muddy Buddies, and if you have not made this before, you are in for a delightful surprise at how easy it is to make! I have yet to bring it to a gathering and not have people gobble it right up.
While my children love it when I make this recipe because it is a special treat that they love to eat, there is another reason they get excited when I say I am making it. My kiddos get so excited when it comes time to coat the cereal pieces with the powder sugar. It is also a favorite memory of mine from my childhood, and it brings me great joy to pass along that tradition. I hope you and whoever you share this yummy treat with enjoy it as much as my loved ones and I do.
