How to Make French Onion Meatball Subs in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
When Michelle, one of our readers, suggested in a comment on our French Onion Meatballs that we use them to make sub sandwiches, I was excited and thought it would be delicious. Then, I saw these amazing brioche pretzel buns and thought they would do well. I had no idea how incredible these French Onion Crock Pot Meatball Subs would end up being. They were a huge hit with every single person in my home, including my picky eater.
Michael is used to eating some yummy food, so it is always fun when I make something that really gets his attention. When he tried these subs, he said, “Oh my goodness! These are amazing! They are like something I would get at a restaurant!” I couldn’t agree more. These subs are incredible.
So, I would like to say a huge thank you to Michelle! This is going to be a recipe we have over and over again, and it is so simple that I can easily make it while we are camping for a quick and easy meal.
