How to Make Good Gravy Tater Tot Casserole in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Good Gravy Beefy Crock Pot Tater Tot Casserole is different from my other Good Gravy recipes. It has the same ingredients and flavors as the other Good Gravy recipes, so I stuck with that name since you would already be familiar with it. However, you can’t really stir this casserole like you would all of the other recipes. Don’t worry. Even though you can’t stir all of the ingredients together to truly form it all into the gravy you are used to, the flavors are still there and still delicious. We make quite a few tater tot casseroles here, and this one was proclaimed the favorite by more than one person in my house. It is that good!

What do you mean.. turning it half way through?
Hi Kris!
What I am talking about is turning your insert halfway through cooking so that everything will cook evenly. I have updated the recipe to state it more clearly. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do!
Aunt Lou
Recipe sounds great! One question: no one in my family likes pepper jack cheese. What can we use instead?
Honestly, I am not a fan of pepper jack cheese either. It does well in this recipe. However, I can understand your hesitancy. I haven’t tried this with any other cheese, but you might try Havarti or Monterey Jack. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
