How to a Make Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Sandwich in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
We have full list of Melt In Your Mouth recipes for a reason. The flavors are wonderful! We have tried it with chicken, beef and pork and always loved the results. The other day I was trying to come up with delicious new recipes for you, my dear readers, and thought I would give the chicken version of this recipe a try with a couple small changes to make it work as a sandwich. My family gobbled them right up! I bet yours will too.
I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs in this recipe. We prefer dark meat, and I love the shorter cooking time. However, I know that some people prefer white meat. If that happens to be you, no worries! You can use this recipe, but will have a longer cooking time. You could also cut the breasts into thigh size pieces if you need to keep the original cooking times. Any way you try it, I hope you love it as much as we do!

Could you use a cream of chicken in place of the cream of mushroom? My family isn’t big on mushroom anything, but this sounds so good!
Aunt Lou says
I haven’t tried this with cream of chicken but think it would work just fine. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
