How to Make Honey Butter Corn in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

The other day I was researching online for new recipe ideas. I came across an interesting recipe over on Wishes and Dishes. The recipe was for a skillet recipe, but I thought I could switch it up a bit and make it a decadent crock pot recipe. So now you have this amazing Honey Butter Crock Pot Corn!

This delicious corn recipe give you a creamy, savory and sweet dish all in one! It was a huge hit at my house, and is perfect for dressing up dinner on a weeknight or wowing your friends and family at a potluck!

I did not try making this recipe on high. Yes, it would cut the cooking time down, but I know my 2.5 quart slow cooker well. She cooks hot. I did not want to chance burning my corn or honey mixture just to cut down the cooking time. If you have a better behaved crock pot that you trust cooking on high with recipes like this, I think it could work. Whether you cook on low or high, please make sure you watch it closely the first time you make it so you can stir it as often as needed. That way you will have a recipe that cRocks and not a recipe that flops. You are going to want to taste this one! SO yummy!

I only have a 6 quart. Could I double the recipe and be safe with the larger slow cooker?

I haven’t tried doubling this recipe in a large crock pot, but I think it could work. Be sure to watch it closely when you make it so you can adjust the cooking time as needed. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

How many servings is this for?

    1. 5 stars
About 6 servings. If you look at the red part of the recipe card, you can find the amount of servings. Hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

How log would you cook this in an instant pot or on the stove? Our crock pot broke and can’t afford another one at the moment.
