If you have ever wondered: Can you make cabbage in a crockpot?, I have great news for you! Not only can you make crockpot cabbage, after years of testing I can tell you that making cooked cabbage in a slow cooker is one of the best ways to get great results every time. Let us show you how!

Cris here.
Truth be told, I am completely obsessed with cooked cabbage. Ever since I was a kid eating Mom’s grilled cabbage in the summer, that tender, buttery, savory flavor has just felt like old fashioned comfort food to me.
What is the Best Method for Cooking Cabbage?
Over the years I’ve developed all kinds of ways to make cooked cabbage in my crock pot, stove top and Instant Pot, however, the crockpot is definitely my tried and true method for great results every time. Stove top tends to take a while to get the right texture and if you aren’t careful, the electric pressure cooker can turn it to mush. So, my favorite way is my trusty slow cooker where I can fix it and forget it.
