How to Make Creamy Pizza Soup in a Ninja Foodi Using the Electric Pressure Cooker Setting

Aunt Lou here.

This Ninja Foodie Creamy Pizza Soup recipe is awesome! It was so easy to throw together, it has great flavor and from start to finish, this recipe only takes around an hour. There are plenty of servings to go around, and the servings are filling. This soup really checks off the boxes for a great recipe.

When you are planning out your timing for making this recipe, make sure you allow time for the Ninja Foodi or Electric Pressure Cooker to come up to pressure. The timing can vary depending on the altitude of where you live. Where I live, it usually takes around 10 to 15 minutes to come up to pressure. So, while the cook time and natural release time are 15 minutes each, you will also want to include the time it takes to come up to pressure in your planning.

General Notes

  • We’ve tested this recipe in a 6 quart Instant Pot and 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi. When pressure cooking with larger pressure cookers, you may need to add 1/2 cup to 1 cup more liquid to reach pressure. Make sure not to overfill smaller pressure cookers past their max lines.

  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
  • Finally, all electric pressure cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own electric pressure cooker and time adjusted as needed.
