    I am going to add corn on the cob to my summer repertoire. One of our favourite summer meals is Black Bean and Corn Chipotle burgers with homemade Chive Potato buns.

  4. I love Tortilla Soup any time of the year. It is a great summer crock pot recipe because it’s not a heavy soup.

    Country ribs in the crockpot, I mold them to fit the crockpot, freeze, next day ,I just put them in the crockpot frozen (buys you more cooking time when you work long hours, so no mush) then pout bbq sauce of choice.. when done I just make wide egg noodles and spoon ribs over and juices. Note: I do hold back about 1/3 do bottle of bbq sauce, then heat up with a little of the juice from ribs, to use as additional sauce over finished ribs! Yum!

  7. The side dishes are what scream summer to me, served with anything from the grill or smoker. Corn on the cob, potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, etc. – and always with watermelon!

    My family has to have crock pot cheesy hash browns at every family gathering! Theyโ€™re so easy and delicious, just made some yesterday for our sonโ€™s bday, him and his fiancรฉe love them too! This crock pot will go to them so they can make them at home!

  13. BBQ ribs my favorite summer meal . Grill ribs for a hour then 4 hours in slow cooker ..

  14. When it becomes too hot to cook I take out several crockpots. For entertaining I like to do the bbq ribs or hotdogs, corn on cob and macaroni and cheese. Its nice to have a complete meal without adding to heat in house!

    So hard to pick my favorite crock pot meal! If I had to pick just one, I’d say taco soup. No side items needed, can cook all day, and perfect any time of year!

    I love crockpot pork butt roast with potatoes and vegetables. Also I love country style ribs in the crockpot with BBQ sauce.

  23. Pork roast. I always use non-stick spray on my insert first. Generally use whatever is available @ dollar tree. Cut some slitsts in the roast fill them with Harry & David’s, classic recipe, pepper and onion relish. Empty the rest of the jar on top w/ a can of your favorite juice, soda, or cider. Cook on low for 6 hrs. or till tender. Serve with your favorite summer sides…

    My favorite summer recipe is Salsa Chicken. chicken breasts or thighs, a package of taco seasoning, a jar of Salsa and a can of black beans. Shred the chicken and it is great for chicken taco’s or just use over rice or chips for nacho’s
