I can hardly wait to try out the corn on the cob in the crock pot. I am hesitant to use my crock pot, because one of the handles is broken off. Yes, it broke off, but keeps working, so I just can’t bring myself to buy a new one. I’m holding out for black Friday deals. I would love to win a new slow cooker, whatever brand it may be, is just fine! Thanks for your continued recipes. I love them!
I am by myself so what I do is produce a good crockpot meal from the recipes and then divide it up and freeze them. I grab a meal out of the freezer as I want them!
My favorite summertime meal is fresh corn-on-the-cob, green beans, tomatoes, and green onions. I love all that fresh garden stuff. Thanks for all the great recipes you provide!
Being from Hawaii, we love kalua pork and cabbage in the slow cooker… so good with cauliflower rice! I was going to bake chicken legs in the oven tonight when I saw your crock pot chicken legs recipe. I love how easy and foolproof it is–thank you! Here in SW Florida it’s already hot, so BBQ anything sounds great. ๐

I think I have made everything you guy’s have made on your website, and I have not eaten one thing I have not liked,no favorits, every thing is great. Love your website.
Found this website during the start of the recent panademic we all experienced and Lord knows how I enjoyed looking forward to a new recipe to cook. I’ve made prolly twenty meals or more (each a differ recipe) and my husband and I have loved each one!!
First, thank you for always bringing the “goods”, good food, good ideas, and good feelings. The best idea I have for a great summer recipe is a tried and true crockpot salmon in parchment. It keeps my kitchen cool and because of the consistent heat it’s almost impossible to overcook it. It stays moist and I don’t have to babysit it, so in my book that’s a win.
I love a good salad. Throw some egg in there, cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, cheese and grilled chicken. Or you can substitute with steak strips or even salmon (which I love sooo much).
I love to have a Crock-Pot full of meatballs and sauce hot and ready at the end of the workday for a quick meal of meatball sandwiches and side salads from the deli!
My “recipe” does not have a name (that I know of). I love to put a couple whole baby yellow squash, a couple whole baby zucchini, a small head of broccoli flowerettes (sp), about a pound of baby potatoes, about a pound of baby carrots, a couple (homegrown) spring onions, and a pound of rope-type turkey sausage. I add a little broth (normally chicken), cook on ow until done. Makes for a good meal and also good snacking leftovers.
