How to Make The Best Cheeseburger Sandwiches in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
You may recognize this recipe, however this version of The Best Crock Pot Cheeseburger Sandwiches has a little twist in how you make it. You see, I have been reworking many of our recipes with cheese using the double broiler method. It takes away the worry of the cheese sticking to the insert away. No one likes to deal with burnt cheese or cleaning stuck on cheese off of an insert. With the double broiler method, you do not have to worry about any of that!
If this recipe sounds good to you, and you are looking to save a little money, I would recommend trying it with ground turkey. You can also use a generic Velveeta. My family loves the Kroger brand. And lastly, you can use hamburger buns or regular bread instead of the pretzel buns. All of these tips will help to keep the cost of this recipe down.
(If you would like to check out the original recipe of this recipe that does not use the double broiler method, you can find it here.)
