How to Make Bacon Creamy Corn in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
So I have been a huge fan of this Creamy Crock Pot Corn for years. It is amazing! It is also a reader favorite. I recently came across an old comment from a reader, Darla, that said she added crumbled bacon to the recipe. I remember reading it and thinking, “I wanna try that!” However, I was apparently distracted and forgot. So, I made up for that distraction by making it now, and boy oh boy did it not disappoint!
So, I am guessing that some of you see this and think, “Add bacon?! Yes!” I am also guessing there might be some others who look at all the ingredients and are hesitant. My 9 yr old was hesitant when he saw me making this and let me know it. (Gotta love a kid’s honesty!) He agreed to try it thought. I put “just one bite” on his plate. He tried it, and then he asked for some more…twice! He loved it, and so did I! The sweet and savory together are delicious!
