How to Make Bubble Up Pizza Bake in an Oven
Aunt Lou here.
Pizza anyone? When Cris and I were kids, there were very few times that Dad cooked. Momma was the chef in our family. (And she still provides us with new and amazing recipes to this day…recipes we share with you quite often!) However, I have very fond memories of Daddy making deep dish pizza. He did not make it often, so it was a very special night when he did.
While this recipe is not Dad’s recipe, this recipe reminds me of his end results so much. The crust is absolutely perfect. It is fluffy and melt in your mouth delicious! You can personalize this to your family’s taste. If you have picky eaters, you can leave off whatever toppings they do not like on a few pieces! The other pieces of pizza can still have all the toppings your heart desires for those who love more! Everyone gets their favorite type of pizza! It is a win win recipe! Everyone gets a wonderful slice of just for you pizza!
This would also be a great recipe to take to a potluck (also known as a pitch-in by us southern Hoosiers). Everyone will think you spent a ton of time making a decadent crust for your pizza. You don’t have to tell them the crust was super easy to make! ๐ However, if you are feeling generous, you can always share the “secret recipe” with them. Kids and adults alike at the gathering will be so glad you brought this!
