For Budget Meal Plan: Week 26, I am going to be pulling together a delicious menu for your family to enjoy without spending too much money!
Meal Planning on a Budget
Aunt Lou here.
Welcome back for Budget Meal Plan: Week 26! When making a meal plan while trying to spend as little money as possible, the main thing I look at is the meat I’m going to be using. Different kinds of meat and different cuts can be drastically different prices. One way we like to save money, is to buy a large pork loin and cut it into chops and smaller portions of pork loin ourselves. (If you do not know how to do this, Mikey will show you in the video below.)
See? It is super simple to make your own center cut pork chops and smaller pork loins! So, we will be taking this little trick and making the majority of our recipes this week. Don’t worry that you will get bored. The recipes I have picked are varied in flavors and will keep you and your family’s taste buds happy! And to wrap up the week’s meals, we are going to have a delicious one-pot meal chicken casserole. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this week’s meals as much as my loved ones and I do!
