How to Make Easy Homemade Bread in an Oven

Aunt Lou here.

So, I was making this Beefy Crock Pot 4 Bean Soup the other day and knew I wanted to try it with some crusty bread. I thought of it too late to make the crock pot version of this Easy Homemade Bread, so I thought I would try to make it in the oven. The results were delicious!

This bread doesn’t need to rise before baking it and gives you a nice crust. However, since this is a bread that doesn’t rise once or twice, it is not a light and fluffy bread. It is a denser bread with great flavor. My family really loves the flavor of this bread, as do I, but I also love that I can make homemade bread so quickly!

I’m disabled so kneading by hand isn’t possible. I added wet to dry in my stand mixer for 7 min. med speed. Changed nothing else. My family loved it!
