If you are looking for a way to use your holiday leftovers in your menu this week, I have you covered with Budget Meal Plan: Week 27.
Meal Planning on a Budget
Aunt Lou here.
Budget Meal Plan: Week 27 just so happens to fall on week after a holiday that, at least in these parts, usually includes a meal with a huge ham. So, we are going to make use of all the leftover ham to save some money on our meals this week. Since meat is one of the biggest costs for any meal plan, using ham you already have is going to really make a difference. With these great mains, we are going to make some delicious side dishes that won’t break the bank either.
Using the leftover ham in new recipes for the week actually have two benefits. For one, you are going to be saving money by not needing to buy meat for two of the three main dishes we will be making this week. Another great benefit is that you will be giving new life to your ham by making it a brand new recipe and avoiding eating the same ol’ same ol for days on end.
