Budget Meal Plan

Meal Planning on a Budget

Aunt Lou here.

Oh my, dear readers, do I have a treat for you this week! Budget Meal Plan: Week 36 is not only delicious, it is using one of my favorite money saving tips. This week, we are going to be saving money by using canned or jarred foods and frozen foods.

In general, foods that are canned, jarred or frozen are cheaper than their fresh counterparts. By making recipes that use these types of foods in them, you can have a delicious dinner while saving money. I love that not only are the ingredients cheaper to buy if you do not already have them, these ingredients may also already be in your pantry, cabinets or freezer. In fact, many of the canned, jarred or frozen ingredients are things that I keep on hand in my house. I hope they are items that you keep stocked up in your house as well, and that you are able to enjoy these delicious meals while spending as little as possible at the grocery store.

Kick back and relax! I have already put together a meal plan for this week. You do not have to worry about your menu this week or saving money. I have you covered.
