How to Make Chicken Pot Pie Soup on a Stove Top
Aunt Lou here.
This Chicken Pot Pie Soup is a flavorful, hearty soup recipe that is a great way to get some veggies in. The pie crust bites are also a great addition to this soup, if you want. Personally, I think they are a must. However, my daughter, who is my picky eater, absolutely loved this soup all on its own. It is that good.
In order for my pie crust bites to be done at the same time as my soup, I preheated my oven while I was putting my soup together. While my soup was coming to a boil, I cut my pie crust into pieces and got them ready to go in the oven. Then everything comes out all at once.
(If you think this soup sounds like something you would like to try making in your crock pot, you can find the crock pot version of this recipe here.)
