How to Make Smoked Sausage Scalloped Potatoes in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

While this Smoked Sausage Crock Pot Scalloped Potatoes is not a dump and go recipe, there are ways to make the prep of this meal go by pretty quickly. I highly recommend having a vegetable peeler that works well for you. Personally, I love my Tupperware vegetable peeler. Honestly, I got it almost 20 years ago, because I was broke when a friend invited me to a Tupperware party. It was the cheapest thing available, and I actually love it. The next thing that will really help cut down the prep time is a good mandoline slicer. It makes slicing potatoes evenly a breeze! With these two tools, I was able to prep this recipe in 10 minutes or less.

Now for the taste of this recipe. It is what you would expect from some good ol’ homemade scalloped potatoes with a little extra treat mixed in from the smoked sausage. The onion slices, potatoes, smoked sausage, cream of celery and cheese all come together to give you an incredibly flavored dish. I really hope you and your loved ones enjoy it as much as we do!
