How to Make Alfredo Chicken Gnocchi in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

I made Crock Pot Chicken Gnocchi Soup a little while back. It was the first time I ever had gnocchi, and I loved them. I wanted to figure out other recipes using these amazing little morsels. I also love chicken Alfredo. So, I came up with this super easy Crock Pot Alfredo Chicken Gnocchi recipe, and man oh man was it a hit in my house!

This recipe is such a cinch to throw together. I used our favorite Alfredo sauce, which is Kroger’s generic brand. You can use yours. If you don’t have a favorite Alfredo sauce, I would definitely recommend Kroger brand or Bertolli. I have used both of these brands in different recipes and like them. Whichever brand of sauce is your favorite, I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as me and my loved ones do.

This is a regular request from the entire clan. Which is REALLY saying something! Easy, cheap, and flavorful, and it fills that comfort food need so wel.

  2. Is the cubed chicken raw? Or can I used cook chicken already?

    1. 5 stars
Yes, the cubed chicken is raw. I haven’t tried this recipe with cooked chicken, but think it might work. I would cut the cooking time before adding the gnocchi down considerably though since the chicken is already cooked. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

  3. If I were to double this recipe, would cooking time be the same?

    1. 5 stars
I haven’t tried doubling this recipe. If I did, I would use a 6 quart slow cooker. With using the larger slow cooker, the cooking time should be similar. As always, watch it closely the first time you make it to adjust the cooking time as need for your specific slow cooker. Enjoy!
