How to Make Beefy Gnocchi in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
If you have read many of my recipes, you know that I love a simple recipe that tastes great. For me, I like having many options of meals I can make quickly on a crazy day. This Crock Pot Beefy Gnocchi is adapted from another family favorite recipe around here (Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff) that can be thrown together in 5 minutes or less in the morning and cooks for six to 8 hours.
We are often asked about recipes with fewer servings. This is one of them. You are using a pound of stew meat with the gnocchi, so this will give you four hearty servings. If you have a larger family or want more leftovers, you can always double the recipe and put it in larger crock pot with about the same cooking time. Whether you are making a single or double batch, you will want to watch it closely the first time you make it and adjust the cooking time as needed for your specific slow cooker.
