How to Make Creamy BBQ Pork in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Folks, it does not get much easier than this Crock Pot Creamy BBQ Pork recipe. It is simple to throw together.
I love simple recipes. Don’t you? And when a simple recipe gives you a great tasting meal, I consider that a win win! You can make this recipe as is for a dinner at home or double it up and crock it up in a 6-quart crock pot to take to a potluck, family reunion or to have at a back yard bbq! You can serve this on buns, wraps or just put it on your plate!
When you are trying to figure out if your pork is done, there are two things you will be looking for to know it is ready. First, you will want to use a meat thermometer to make sure the center point of each of your pork loin pieces reaches safe internal cooking temperature. Second, you will want to take two forks and see if each one will start to shred. If they do, go ahead and put them in your large bowl and start shredding. If they don’t, put the lid back on and give it a little bit more time.

Thanks Anu! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Oh my this looks so good. Wondering if you could recommend a cut of beef that would be good to use In this recipe. Thank you
Hi Brandy!
I haven’t tried this with beef yet, but think you could make this with any roast. Just remember that the tougher the roast, the longer you will want to cook it (on low….always on low with beef). If it is still tough, give it more time. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
