How to Make Italian Ground Sausage Tortellini in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
A while back I made this Crock Pot Smoked Sausage Tortellini, and we loved it. When I was thinking about what I was going to make this week, that recipe came to mind. I instantly thought, “I bet that would be good with ground Italian sausage!” Guess what?! This Crock Pot Italian Ground Sausage Tortellini is better than good! The flavor is awesome, has just a little kick and it is so incredibly easy to throw together. It will be a go to in our house.
One switch I made from the original recipe to this one, besides the meat involved, is using dried minced onion instead of a chopping up 1/4 cup of onion. Honestly, I did it because I didn’t want to chop up an onion. So, if you prefer fresh chopped onion over dried minced onion, feel free to substitute away. Either way, it is going to be delicious.
