Absolutely love your recipe. On my next meatloaf I substituted the pound of hamburger with a pound of mild sausage. Added another layer of fantastic taste and aroma.

  3. This was the first time Iโ€™ve ever made meatloaf. It was fantastic! Iโ€™ll definitely make that again. What can we use in place of the beefy mushroom soup, in case I canโ€™t find it next time?

I’m so glad you enjoyed it as much as we do! I think a comparable substitute would be golden mushroom soup. I haven’t tried it with this substitute, but think it could work. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

This meatloaf is so tasty. Used 90% ground beef, so it wasn’t greasy. We will making this again and again.

This recipe sounds great & i would like to make it-
but i cannot find “beefy mushroom soup” any where.
All i can find is golden mushroom soup- or cream of mushroom soup.
would either one of these work in the recipe ?
Hope to hear back soon……… Audrey

I have never been a real meatloaf lover because they normally seem dry to me. And I have never had a brown gravy meatloaf. So I was on a mission to find a moist meatloaf. This one hit the spot. I did add reg onion (in place of the minced onion), bellpepper, mushrooms amd carrots. My husband loved it, as did I. It was so moist. This is a recipe we will keep.

I have ally been experimenting with making meatloafs various ways for years and this was the first recipe that my husband of 18 years has ever told me (and he loves my cooking) โ€œ I love this recipe this is now the only meatloaf you can makeโ€. It was truly wonderful , I thought it was great too.
