How to Make Parmesan Chicken Potato Soup in a Slow Cooker

Aunt Lou here.

Everyone loves the Crock Pot Parmesan Scalloped Potatoes when I make them, so it got me thinking…and now you have this delicious recipe! It is so easy to make. If you need it to be a dump and go recipe for the morning, you can do the prep work the night before! Just put your potatoes in water for the night and drain before using. If you need a longer cooking time, cut your potatoes and chicken into larger pieces. If you need a shorter cooking time, cut your chicken and potatoes into smaller pieces. Whichever way you choose to make it, I am sure you and your family will love this amazing soup!

Is the parmesan cheese in this recipe the kind you put on spaghetti, or is there another kind of parmesan cheese?

    Thanks.

      Hi Dave!

You will buy a wedge of Parmesan and shred/grate it yourself. I have a rotary cheese grater like this one (affiliate link): https://amzn.to/2zw77Z7.

      Enjoy!
