How to Make Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Whether you have company coming over, or you just want to have a hot breakfast in the morning without having to cook it in the morning, this Crock Pot Peaches and Cream Overnight Oatmeal recipe is a great solution! Since peaches are not in season around here, I thought I would try this recipe with frozen peach slices. That way everyone can enjoy this delicious and comforting breakfast whether fresh peaches are available in your area or not!
When you are putting water in your insert, on the outside of the bowl that is sitting in the insert, you will want to make sure that you do not fill the insert up more than halfway up the side of the bowl. There is a reason for this. If you put too much water in your insert, then there is a chance that the water will boil up and spill into your bowl, and no one wants that!
(If you would like to try this recipe with fresh peaches instead of frozen peach slices, you can find that version of this recipe here.)
