How to Make Pork French Dips in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
So, funny story. From the time Cris first made this recipe with Big Red because that was the only pop (or soda, cola or whatever you call it) she had in her house at the time, everyone in our family has been skeptical when first trying this recipe. We have all had a meat cooked in some kind of pop. However, before Cris trying this, I had not ever heard of someone using Big Red. Never fear. I have yet to hear of anyone who has been served this Crock Pot Pork French Dips recipe that has not loved it immediately.
Since Big Red was a family favorite for as far back as I can remember, I know from our family travels that Big Red is not available in all areas. Never fear! If you do not have Big Red available in your area, you can use a different kind of pop.
