How to Make Steak Fajitas in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I’m not sure if I have ever had fajitas with as tender of beef as these Crock Pot Steak Fajitas, but I definitely haven’t had more tender beef. Cooking this recipe low and slow gives you great flavor and and melt in your mouth tender meat.
You can use whatever thin cut steak is available at your grocery store. The cheapest thin cut steak at my local grocery store was called sizzle steak. Honestly, before I saw this sizzle steak at the store when I bought it, I had never heard of that cut before. It worked beautifully in this recipe though. So, if you can find it, I highly recommend it. However, with how the slow cooker makes beef so tender when you cook low and slow, I think any type of thinly cut steak will work pretty well.
There are quite a few ingredients listed. Don’t let that scare you. This is just because you are making your own fajita mix instead of a using a packet. This truly is a really simple recipe that is so delicious! It was an instant family favorite at my house.
Psst…if you want to make this on your stove, you can find the recipe here.
