This recipe is incredibly simple! It is perfect for anyone who has a crazy schedule and needs an easy weeknight meal or for anyone who is just getting started with their electric pressure cooker and wants an easy meal to get their feet wet. Your chicken turns out tender and juicy with a wonderful flavor! Ryder and Iyla gobbled it up just as fast as Michael and I did!
Instant Pot Cajun Chicken Notes:
- This recipe can be made in any 6 quart electric pressure cooker including: Instant Pot, Ninja Foodi and Crock Pot Express.
- If you use an 8-quart electric pressure cooker, you may want to use an extra 1/2 cup of broth to help bring it up to pressure.

Instant Pot Cajun Chicken Recipe
Instant Pot Cajun Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 10.75 oz can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 oz pkg ranch dressing mix
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
Instructions
- Spray your 6-quart electric pressure cooker lightly with cooking spray.
- Put your chicken in your instant pot.
- Pour your chicken broth in around your instant pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together your remaining ingredients.
- Spoon seasoning mixture over the top of your chicken.
- Seal and cook on high for 10 minutes.

how much time would you add if the chicken is frozen?
Hi Pat!
I haven’t tried making this recipe with frozen chicken. We test every recipe before posting it, especially with the Instant Pot, and don’t like to make recommendations without trying it first. Be sure you use a meat thermometer when you try it the first time to ensure your chicken has reached safe temperature. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
