How to Make Old Bay Veggies in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Corn on the cob and potatoes are two of my all time favorite veggies. I grew up in a meat and potatoes household, and we also loved corn on the cob. This trend has continued all throughout my life, so I have tons of happy memories of having these two yummy veggies with my loved ones at all stages of life. This Old Bay Crock Pot Veggies recipe is so delicious and incredibly easy to put together. So, it will definitely become a regular in our house!
Don’t worry that there isn’t any water in the crock pot when you are cooking your veggies. Between the butter, the moisture that is naturally in the veggies and the way a crock pot keeps all that moisture with the food you are cooking, your veggies will cook up beautifully! I love the way the butter and Old Bay seasoning flavors everything. Young and old alike love it in my house.

This is soooo good! I had to double everything the first time I made them & we were hooked! I made it again yesterday & added shrimp & imitation crab meat & doubled the sauce again! Added the shrimp & crab about 10-15 minutes after the potatoes were done. It was pure heaven!! Thank you for an incredible recipe here in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky ! 🙂
I’m so glad you and your loved ones enjoyed this recipe! Love the addition of seafood to make it a one-pot meal. Yum!
