Our favorite food to cook in the crackpot is whole chicken. No hot oven and get to use it in different meals.
Beef & noodles. 1.5 lbs stew meat, can of French onion soup, can of cream of celery. Cook on low for 6 hours. Add cooked noodles & cook for another 15 minutes.
I’d start with mac and cheese, home cooking and smell. Then for dessert there’d be a cobbler, not sure on the fruit yet, maybe peach, strawberry, hmm so many choices and of course depending on what’s available and not too pricy!
