How to Make Taco Bake in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Taco Crock Pot Bake is such a treat! Even my 8 year old picky eater gobbled her serving up and asked for more. That happening here is like witnessing a miracle. She is extremely picky. However, this recipe is that good! Yum!
When I post a recipe where everything is cooked prior to going into the crock pot, I will always get the question, “Why would I put this in the crock pot at all,” or some variation of this question. So, I thought I would go ahead and answer that here. You are putting all the ingredients in the crock pot and cooking it for a short time so that the flavors can all meld together and the cheese can melt on top. It is similar to when you put a casserole in the oven that has all the ingredients already cooked. The time the ingredients spend together in the crock pot or oven gives them the chance to combine to give you the amazing recipe at the end. I hope that helps clear things up, and I hope that you love this recipe!
