How to Make Brown Sugar Bacon Pork Chops for Two in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
If you have ever tried a recipe with brown sugar and bacon together, you know that the sweet and savory combination is incredibly delicious. This Brown Sugar Bacon Crock Pot Pork Chops for Two is no different. The sweet and savory of the brown sugar and bacon infuse the pork chop, and by cooking these in a crock pot, the pork chop is juicy and fall apart tender. It is an incredible combination.
You will want to watch your pork chops closely the first time you make them so you can have your broiler ready to go as soon as the internal temperature of your pork chops reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit. The broiler cooking step is going to crisp up your bacon and caramelize the brown sugar with the bacon juices. It only takes a few minutes in the broiler, and then you are ready to dive into these amazing pork chops.
