What You Will Need for Cheesy Garlic Crock Pot Potatoes for Two

Ingredients Needed

  • 2 medium size russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thick
  • 1 1/2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons onion, diced
  • 1 scant cup Velveeta (or your favorite generic equivalent), cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Ingredients

    Instructions

    • Put your water on the stove to boil.
    • Peel and slice potatoes.
    • Dice your onion.
    • Add potatoes and onion to boiling water and boil for approximately 7-8 minutes until potatoes are almost fork tender and drain.
    • Mince your garlic.
    • Put some water in the insert of your slow cooker, place a heat safe bowl in the insert and spray bowl lightly with cooking spray.
    • Place your drained potatoes and onions in the bowl.
    • Add your cubed cheese and garlic on top of the potatoes.
    • Pour in your milk.
    • Salt and pepper to taste.
    • Cover and cook on low for 50 minutes to 1 hour, stirring halfway through cooking time.
    • Stir one more time at the end until well combined.
