How to Make Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken in an Oven

Around my house, we are huge fans of our Crock Pot Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken. It seems that many of you, dear readers, love this recipe as well. So, as with any of our popular recipes, we often get the question, “How do I make this in my oven?” So, I thought I would give this recipe a try in my oven to share with you guys. My family had absolutely no objections to me whipping this up! It is so delicious!
While you know we love cRockin’ up recipes, we understand that there are times that you do not have time to cRock up a recipe. This oven version of this recipe makes it so you can serve up some delicious comfort food to your family even when you only have around an hour to get dinner on the table! I hope you and your loved ones enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
What You Will Need
Ingredients Needed
- 8 potatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes
- 1 onion, diced
- 16 oz Velveeta, cubed
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken cut into large cubes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cup milk
Equipment Needed
- Sharp knives
- Cutting boards
- Vegetable peeler
- Measuring cup
- Aluminum foil
- 9 x 13 baking dish
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 55 to 60 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (You will cook covered with aluminum foil for 40 minutes. Then you will remove the foil, turn your baking dish and continue cooking uncovered for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.)

Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken Oven Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 potatoes peeled and cut into small cubes
- 1 onion diced
- 16 oz Velveeta cubed

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Put all your ingredients in your 9x13 baking dish with the potatoes on bottom.
- Cover with foil and cook for 40 minutes.
- Uncover, rotate your baking dish and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
