This Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Naan is not only one of my favorite recipes, it is so incredibly easy to put together. This dump and go recipe is not only super simple to make, it is also incredibly delicious. My family loves it every single time I make it, and I have made it multiple times. So, next time you need a really quick recipe to cook while you do something else, pull this recipe out. It is definitely a keeper!

What You Will Need Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Naan

Ingredients Needed

  • 22 oz bag of frozen grilled and ready chicken strips, kept frozen
  • 18 oz bottle of your favorite bbq sauce (We used Sweet Baby Ray’s original and loved it.)
  • 6 slices of mini naan (or flatbread, if your grocery store does not carry mini naan), heated
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • Garnish: fried onion crisps, ranch dressing

Equipment Needed

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 2 to 3 hours on low or 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes on high, stirring halfway through the cooking time to help ensure all of the chicken cooks evenly

Ingredients

  • 22 oz bag of frozen grilled and ready chicken strips kept frozen
  • 18 oz bottle bbq sauce
  • 6 Slices mini naan warmed (You can use flatbread, if your store does not mini naan.)
  • 2 Cups Fresh Baby Spinach
  • fried onion crisps garnish
  • ranch dressing garnish

Instructions

  • Place 22 oz bag of frozen grilled and ready chicken strips (kept frozen) in a 4 Quart or 6 Quart Crock Pot.
  • Pour 18 oz bottle bbq sauce on top of the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on high for 1-1.5 hours or low for 2-3 hours. Stir halfway through the cooking time and turn to warm once fully heated.
  • Warm 6 Slices mini naan and divide 2 Cups Fresh Baby Spinach between the mini naan.
  • Top the spinach with the bbq chicken and garnish with fried onion crisps and ranch dressing.
