How to Make Caramel Pecan Rolls in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

I am all for ways to make life easier. I did just that with this Crock Pot Caramel Pecan Rolls recipe by adding in just one extra little step of lining your slow cooker insert with parchment paper. Not only does it making cleaning up a snap, it also makes it so you easily remove them all at once from the crock pot insert. Then you just put a plate on top of the rolls on the parchment paper and flip them to have a beautiful platter of rolls ready to place on the table!

I love that this recipe can be budget friendly, because it uses so many staples you may already have around your kitchen. There are also generic frozen dinner rolls available at many store. When you combine those two factors together, you can have a delicious breakfast without breaking the bank!

(If you do not have parchment paper and want to check out the original version of this recipe that does not use it, you can find it here.)

  • Cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  • Cook on high for 1-1.5 hours, rotating your insert halfway through the cooking time, if your slow cooker cooks unevenly. (Watch it closely. You do not want to overcook the sauce, because it will harden when it cools. It is done when the sauce has become nice and gooey.)
