How to Make Easy Pizza Grilled Cheese on a Stove Top

Aunt Lou here.

I thought I would take one of my favorite Blackstone recipes and adapt it for the stove top, so you can have these yummy Easy Pizza Grilled Cheese sandwiches no matter if you are able to use a Blackstone or not!

I have made this recipe with brioche bread slices and regular white bread slices. It turns out great with both. If you are looking for the most budget friendly way to make this recipe, I recommend using regular white bread for all of the ingredients, including the bread. It turns out delicious with generic ingredients!

(If you would rather make these yummy sandwiches on your Blackstone, you can find that version of this recipe here.)

What You Need for Easy Pizza Grilled Cheese

Ingredients Needed

  • 8 slices white bread (I used sliced brioche bread, and it worked beautifully.)

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • Optional: pizza sauce for dipping

  • Flipping spatula

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 to 10 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 2 to 3 minutes per side over medium heat, flip and grill the other side for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until both sides reach desired golden color
