Aunt Lou here.

A recipe that is easy and pleases everyone in my house is a major win! So when I saw this recipe for Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti in Gooseberry Patch’s Everyday Slow Cooker, I knew I had to try it out. With how much of a success it was in this house, I knew I had to share it with you!

Ingredients Needed for This Recipe

  • 16 oz box spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 16 oz pkg pasteurized process cheese spread, cubed
  • 4 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • garnish: fresh grated Parmesan

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti Notes

  • This recipe is from Gooseberry Patch’s Everyday Slow Cooker.
  • I used thin spaghetti because that is what we like in this house, but you can use regular if that is what you and yours prefer.
  • If you want it cheesier, you can always add in some more cheese. Make it your own!
  • Here is a great oven version if you don’t have time to slow cook.
  • We love using this 6 quart slow cooker, but any 6 quart slow cooker will work.
  • Check out all our favorite recommendations for cookbooks, slow cookers and low carb essentials in our Amazon Influencer Shop.
  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
  • All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

      Hi Virginia!

It was just the recipe’s way of saying Velveeta without using a brand name. Enjoy!

This sounds really good but I have a question. It says stirring frequently. I thought you weren’t supposed to open the lid on your crock pot to stir because the temperature drops and then it takes longer to cook? I want to try it though. It sounds yummy!

      Hi Gail!

The reason for stirring is because of the cheese. If it gets stuck on the edges, it would crust up. Hope that helps. Enjoy!

Hi! This looks delicious! Did your noodles not get all “mooshy” being cooked that long? Or should they be added in the last part of cooking?

      Hi Regina!

They actually didn’t! I didn’t over cook them beforehand though. Just a little past al dente. Enjoy!
